Through her early participation in and leadership of such regional and national scholarly groups as the Delaware Valley Medieval Association, the Princeton-Penn Early Christianity group, Consortium for the Teaching of the Middle Ages, and the Society of Medieval Feminist Scholarship, she was a regular source of advice and connections for young scholars and graduate students alike.
